What Reiki is
Reiki is a gentle Japanese healing practice. The word joins Rei, a higher wisdom, and Ki, life force energy. I place my hands on or just above you and let that energy flow where it's needed.
We all have energy centres, our chakras, and over time they can feel congested. Reiki works on how you feel physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. I've been attuned to Usui Holy Fire® Reiki, a refined form of Reiki, at Master and Teacher level.

The word
Two Japanese words, one meaning
Put together, Rei and Ki mean spiritually guided life force energy. That is what flows through every session I give, whether it's Reiki on its own or woven through a massage.
Step by step
What happens in your session
About 90 minutes in the cabin. No two sessions are the same.

We cleanse and chat
Come in, get comfy. We cleanse the space, then talk about how you're feeling and anything on your mind.

I show you the placements
Before we start I show you where my hands would rest. If you'd rather I didn't touch, I work just above you.
- 03
The healing
You lie down, or sit if you prefer. I may use breathing, a guided meditation, crystals or sound. You might feel tingling, warmth or heaviness, or simply sink into calm.

The card pull
We pull an angel and affirmation card together and talk about anything that came up.
- 05
Afterwards
You may feel energised, sleepy or emotional. Many clients tell me they sleep really well that night, and I'll check in the next day.

Distant Reiki is just as blissful. We FaceTime so it feels like we're in the same room: a little chat, you place your phone down, get cosy, and I begin. When the healing's done I call you back. If you don't answer, I let you sleep, pull your card anyway and check in later.

Before and after
Avoid caffeine and alcohol before and after your session, and drink plenty of water.

Reiki supports wellbeing alongside medical care, never instead of it.

What people ask me
What is Holy Fire Reiki?
It's a form of Usui Reiki. Many practitioners, me included, find its energy especially refined and gentle. The session itself feels much like any Reiki: calm, warm and deeply relaxing.
Can I have Reiki if I'm nervous?
Of course. I explain everything before we start, you stay clothed, and you can ask me to stop or change anything at any point.
Does distant Reiki really work?
Many of my clients find it just as relaxing as being in the room. Energy isn't limited by distance, and you get to stay cosy at home.
Can my child have Reiki?
Yes, Reiki suits any age. Children's sessions are £40, and parent and child sessions are £80.
How long is a session?
About 90 minutes in the cabin, including our chat before and after. Distant sessions are about an hour.
